I actually came up with this story idea a few months ago during autumn! I was upstate and noticed the foliage was a little duller than usual. Then, I imagined a world where the leaves stopped changing, forcing society to create an alternative.
It’s a scary reality as our world burns around us. Hopefully we can save it before your story becomes the only memory of what was for future generations.
